About Vanta Flat Roofing
15 years and 6,000+ local projects. We are a Brooklyn roofing company that works on one thing: flat roofs. Repairs, replacements and maintenance on brownstones, rowhouses, walk-ups and commercial buildings across the borough.
Our story
For 15 years, Vanta Flat Roofing has repaired and replaced flat roofs across Brooklyn, with more than 6,000 local projects completed. Too many Brooklyn owners were paying for the same leak twice: a quick patch over the ceiling stain, while the real problem sat at the flashing or a seam ten feet away.
So we built the company around a simple way of working. Find the real cause. Explain it in plain English, with photos. Put the price in writing before any work starts. And stand behind the repair.
Why only flat roofs
Flat roofs fail differently from sloped ones. Water doesn’t run off on its own, seams and flashing carry the load, and every membrane needs its own repair method. Doing nothing else means our crews know these roofs, and the Brooklyn buildings under them, better than a general roofer can.
How we work
- Repair first. We recommend a new roof only when repairs no longer make sense, and we show you why.
- Photos of everything. You see the problem and the finished work, even if you never go up.
- Written prices. One clear estimate. No surprise charges once the job starts.
- Respect for your building. We protect interiors and neighbors’ roofs, and leave the site clean.
- On time and reachable. We answer the phone, including for emergencies at night.
Licensed, insured and accountable

- [Manufacturer certifications, e.g. certified TPO or EPDM installer (only if real)]
- 10-year workmanship warranty on our installation and repair work. Material warranties vary by manufacturer and roofing system.
